Wide Angle Tasmania aims to create an inspired and inspiring community that nurtures emerging talent in film and video production in metropolitan and regional Tasmania.
 
We offer short courses in digital editing and camera techniques at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. We also offer courses and seminars that teach about the art of filmmaking and the practicalities of getting it done. These courses can also provide a launch pad for practitioners who aspire to careers in video and film production.
 
Wide Angle Tasmania has equipment for hire at affordable rates that include cameras, lighting and sound equipment and post production facilities.
 
Wide Angle Tasmania aims to bring people together in a community to create and produce projects. We promote local Tasmanian work, helping in the creation, production and screening of projects.
