How to Get Here

On Foot
Walking to Salamanca Arts Centre from central Hobart takes less than 10 minutes and is a most pleasant experience in itself. From Hobart, head South towards the waterfront and Sullivans Cove. When you are at the docks, turn right and keep walking until you reach the lawn areas of Salamanca Place. The Arts Centre buildings are located two-thirds of the way down on the right hand side.

By Car
It only takes 2-3 minutes to drive to the Salamanca Arts Centre from the centre of Hobart. Voucher parking is available right in front of our buildings.

Additional voucher parking is available in the Hobart City Council multi-storey car-park behind the Arts Centre. Access to this car-park is from Gladstone Street, off Salamanca Place.

Disabled parking facilities are available in front of the Arts Centre, close to the main entrance.

By Taxi
The cost from the centre of Hobart is approximately $6.
