Amanda Connor is an M.F.A graduate of the School of Art in Hobart.  Her sculptural work consists mainly of brightly painted wooden objects with hand-written text inscribed onto the object's surfaces.  Recent two dimensional work features aspects of landscape with an emphasis on light changes and seasonal flow.  Pattern and movement are key elements of her visual focus, and crucial in the creation of the installations that constitute her solo exhibitions. 
 
Amanda is a regular exhibitor of the Studio Gallery at the Salamanca Arts Centre.
