HyPe [hybrid performance program]
Salamanca Arts Centre supports the development of new Tasmanian performance
HyPe is a three-year initiative by Salamanca Arts Centre to support the creation of new contemporary hybrid theatre in Tasmania, funded by the Australia Council for the Arts and supported by Hobart City Council.
The second stage of this year's program is to fund the creative development of new performances, working towards public presentation in 2011/ 2012. Salamanca Arts Centre is pleased to announce we will partner with five outstanding projects. A total of $37,000 was awarded and the creative developments will be occurring in and around Salamanca Arts Centre from August 2010 - mid 2011.
