HyPe Program Information 2010
HyPe (Hybrid Performance Program) is a new initiative of the Salamanca Arts Centre (SAC), to support the creation of new contemporary hybrid theatre. HyPe consists of four initiatives: Please click on each initiative for full information

- Creative Development (2010 - 2012) Supporting the development and creation of new contemporary performance

The Salamanca Arts Centre assists the wider community of artists by offering training, workshops and forums.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts and its arts funding and advisory body.
THEATRE TRAINING S.P.A.C.E. is our Salamanca Performing Arts Course in Entertainment. Whether for work in theatre, live music, festivals or the corporate event sector, qualified technical staff are always in demand! S.P.A.C.E. offers foundation skills for anyone interested in technical training for the events, entertainment and theatre industry such as a Lighting Technician, Audio Technician, Stage Manager, Events Coordinator, Production Manager, Set Builder, Props Maker, Lighting Designer and Sound Designer. Successful graduates are now working in the industry and four graduates are currently furthering their studies at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art). To gain practical, industry-based training with SPACE through TAFE Tasmania and receive a nationally recognised qualification, enrol NOW for the mid year intake 2008!
