Dianna Marston's work explores the obsessive nature of texting from intimate, special messages to abbreviated, banal and automated texts that are now a common occurrence in the everyday. The images represent the ephemerality of contemporary communication and the fallibility of modern technology to retain this information. The work also investigates the effects that this type of communication has upon her emotions. The title All That's Left refers to the remnants of fragile text in the memory of her mobile that does not lend itself to personal or historical archiving.
