Bright Thinking* is a monthly discussion in the style of the French Café philosophique (“cafe-philo”) started by Marc Sautet in Paris.

The topic this month is “the battle for territory” (Property)

What can be done to reduce homelessness?
Is property theft?
What effect do rising property prices have on younger generations?
Does a mortgage give rise to a type of slavery?
What rights should renters and property owners have?
How do we build more energy-efficient housing?
How do conservationists deal with property development?
What right to privacy do we have in our homes?
What role does public property (the commons) play in a community?
