Take a journey into the depths of our oceans,
and meet some of its curious inhabitants with
emerging artist, Wendy Steinberg’s
debut solo exhibition.
Journey down through our oceans’ depths, and meet some of the weird and wonderful creatures that she has brought to life with vivid colours, and deep textures, created with her unique combination of finger- and brush painting.
Be transported down through each oceanic zone, from the sparkling surface waters of the ‘Sunlight Zone’ to the inky blackness of the ‘Abyssal Zone’. Along the way, you will meet some of the creatures that inhabit each zone, from the whimsical Weedy Sea Dragon, to the toothy Deep Sea Anglerfish. You can even learn interesting facts about each of the creatures that you meet.
Wendy has designed Creatures of the Deep to be interactive for visitors of all ages, inviting viewers to gently touch the paintings, to fully explore the deep texture that she has created on the canvas.
