XbRG01

XbRG01 is the first solo exhibition by emerging jewellery artist, Rengin Guner. The work being presented is a collection of pieces in silver and brass that can be best described as architectural simplicity. Drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus movement and Japanese minimalism, XbRG01 are statement pieces of aesthetic asymmetry and asperity.

“I have played a lot with forms to create beauty in balanced asymmetry. Nature itself is full of beauty and harmonious relationships that are asymmetrical yet balanced. This is a dynamic beauty that attracts and engages.” – Rengin Guner

Rengin’s designs subtly extenuate the body’s lines without dominating attention to the jewellery itself. Through architectural form and characteristic matt textured finishes, Rengin’s aims to create statement jewellery of individuality that can accompany either contemporary or classic styles.

Rengin describes her work as love of simplicity, seeing more in less.
