Described as “The Authentic Guitar Virtuoso” by The Sydney Morning Herald, Bruce’s music incorporates many rhythms and moods. In concert his engaging persona combined with superb musicianship and the ability to play bass, rhythm and melody simultaneously, leaves audiences spellbound.

“Simply quite dazzling, the audience was enthralled, we were all his!” -  Adrian Morgan – The Scotsman Edinburgh Festival

Bruce has travelled the world and most recently as the “Rhythm Hunter” making music documentaries. It’s through these travels that he has found the diverse colours of music and rhythms from all over the globe and fused them into a diverse and unique style that is all his own. You will be taken on a journey with infectious rhythms and evocative textures from far flung corners of his guitar.

“A model demonstration of guitar virtuosity and richness of Mathiske’s musical palette. Marvel at the speed of his playing and, as he wanders around the region, see how effortlessly he embraces smooth Latin sounds and the richness of Spain and Mexico. Mathiske is an authentic guitar virtuoso who is as comfortable playing rock and jazz as he is nodding towards flamenco and classical. Mathiske is quite simply, a great guitar player.” Bruce Elder – Sydney Morning Herald
