Arts Tasmania Jeju International Residency Forum

Join Korean artist Jinsoo Kim
and Tasmanian artists in a discussion of
Arts Residencies and Cultural Exchanges.

The Arts Tasmania Jeju International Residency is a reciprocal program that supports exchanges between Tasmanian artists and artists from Jeju Island, South Korea. Korean artist Jinsoo Kim is currently undertaking a twelve-week residency at Salamanca Arts Centre through the program.

Arts Tasmania and the Salamanca Arts Centre invite you to come along and hear Jinsoo Kim speak about his Arts Residency and his work.

Jinsoo will be joined for a panel discussion by Tasmanian artists who have participated in the residency, including Dr Megan Walch and Dr Penny Burnett.

The Arts Tasmania Jeju International Residency is a partnership between Arts Tasmania and Jeju Foundation for Arts and Culture (JFAC). Established in 2001, JFAC is a non-profit foundation promoting Jeju Islands’ culture and art. The residency is supported by partners the Cultural Development Network and Salamanca Arts Centre.

The Arts Tasmania Jeju International Residency is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia-Korea Foundation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
