A 2D and 3D mixed media wandering
from old technology to the modern equivalent,
with control and freedom

This mixed-media exhibition includes both 2-dimensional images and 3-dimensional objects, with an emphasis on control, manipulation and magic. It juxtaposes old technology with the modern equivalent, control and freedom.
The incidental mark making and uniqueness of image and furniture production using old technology such as pinhole cameras and hand tooled green wood is set against digitally manipulated images displayed in light boxes and machine programmed construction techniques.
The 2-dimensional component of this exhibition will comprise a range of photographic images from pinhole to digitally manipulated light-box images. Pinhole photography was common in the 19th and early 20th century. Digital image manipulation is now mainstream with the ability to control and contrive what the viewer sees and experiences. The digital images in this exhibition are layered macro images and light-box images.
