Transcendental, transformative art-pop
meets avant garde fashion
After premiering to a packed Odeon Theatre at Dark Mofo 2019, electronic art-pop artist COSTUME (aka Adam Ouston) is performing an intimate show at the Peacock Theatre as part of his Dream Palace Tour 2020.
COSTUME’s rich, genre-bending debut album ‘Pan’ was recorded in Iceland at the fabled Greenhouse Studios (Bjork, The xx, Anohni, Kanye West), and the stunning first video Horns was shot around the island by Canadian filmmaker Blair Alexander (Damien Rice, Talos). The following two videos, Running Boy and Bang Bang were shot by veteran cinematographer Sandi Sissel (Michael Jackson’s Black or White, The People Under the Stairs).
Since Pan’s release in May 2019, and the much-lauded premiere Dark Mofo performance, COSTUME’s blend of electronic art-pop, theatrics and design has set audiences alight and garnered rave reviews:
“Takes the unique and dramatic to new heights” (The Music)
“A haunting … mix of Darryl Hannah in Blade Runner, Klaus Nomi and Marilyn Manson” (The Monthly)
Very quickly, COSTUME has earned a solid groundswell of interest and an enthusiastic following. Needless to say, Ouston’s spellbinding stage presence and transportive shows will continue to capture the world’s attention.
