Contrasting works of painting and botanical illustration linked through a connection to the colonial history of Tasmania.
Leonie Brothers’ works are of plants introduced by the early settlers, in the hope of recreating their English homeland. This desire for a sense of home is explored in Bronwen Jones’ works which primarily depicts Georgian architecture.
