Haunted by Light

that pays homage to the nature of photography
and to the inhabitants
that are fleetingly fixed to its surface.
The photographic image as artifact provides a tangible connection to people and place that sit elusively in our history. Exploring the lingering influence of the photograph as both an unparalleled tribute, and a bridge to generations that have passed, the exhibition Haunted by Light is a symbolic reminder of our debt to memory.
Yet above all, the images conceived are an intimate acknowledgement of those ghosts that persistently endure beyond their initial impression. Captured by light and seemingly etched forever on a finite piece of paper.
