Will Troy find a way to balance basketball and his secret love of musicals?! Will Gabriella find the man of her dreams and win the Science Decathlon?! Will Sharpay realise her dreams of becoming a star?! High School has never been this much fun!
First day back at school the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball captain Troy, discovers that Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke has just enrolled at East High. When they decide to audition for the high school musical the ‘status quo’ is thrown into chaos, but perhaps for the better.
