Nick Haywood and Ted Vining need little or no introduction to Jazz audiences across Australia – both dedicated to excellence.
Patrick Lefevre is a Melbourne-born saxophonist and composer quickly emerging into the music scene in Australia. Predominantly performing within the jazz and improvised music traditions, he has also played professionally across a diverse range of other genres as a sideman and bandleader. Patrick completed post-graduate studies at the James Morrison Academy of Music and has studied with well-renowned musicians including Tony Gould, James Morrison, Carl Mackey, and Mat Jodrell. Highlights of his career include a national tour with trumpeter James Morrison, and performances at the Sydney Opera House and Hamer Hall. He has performed at festivals across Australia and is a member of the Australian National Youth Big Band. He was a Generations in Jazz James Morrison Scholarship Finalist in 2019 and was the winner of the Athenaeum Jazz Award in 2022.
