A collection of linocut relief print works
by Bec Murdoch.
As one of the newest Resident Studio Artists at Salamanca Arts Centre, this exhibition marks a return to the art profession. It is descriptive of a beginning point, a first step in a new meandering journey exploring image making, the concept of the multiple that the printmaking process enables, and the use of that multiple in the creation of unique art pieces.
Bec’s work has a decorative aesthetic, exploring a flat plane graphic approach within the linocut print methodology. Trees and botanic forms feature strongly in her work.
See the artist at work in the gallery daily.
