Paintings inspired by the Tasmanian Landscape
Lost in Tasmania is a collection of paintings by SAC Resident Artist Hannah Blackmore inspired by a recent trip around Tasmania.
“As an English artist living and working in Tasmania, I find the landscape never ceases to inspire me. In this exhibition you will find some well-known places as well as some not so well-known places. I love the effect of mist on the landscape and many places I visited were partially hidden under a blanket of mist, and therefore appeared lost. While this was a shame for some of the tourists, I found it somewhat magical and particularly beautiful.”
