Come join Lune River and their good friends Caelo + Gigi and the Fever Dreams at the Founders Room for a night so rowdy your hair will fall out. From heartfelt acoustic songs to adventurous psych-rock jams to brazen rock ‘n’ roll, the three local acts will cover a hazy spectrum of sound.

This event will take place on the lands of the muwinina people. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always has been and will be Aboriginal land.

Lune River
Forming at the beginning of 2021, Lune River are a Rock ’n’ Roll group from nipaluna. Meeting each other during their school days, the band have always had a shared love for the music of the 60s and the movements born out of it. After years of jamming on and off, the band finally formed early last year and recorded their debut EP ‘Hold On (Lovers)’ – releasing it at the end of 2021. Their sound is an eclectic one; shaped by their affinity with adventurous psych-rock jams and their belief in organic songwriting. Lune River is a name you’ll hear plenty more of over the coming waves of time.

Caelo
Abe Parsons is a Tasmanian-based singer/songwriter. As both a solo performer and vocalist of local band Little Island, Abe has years of experience playing to a range of audiences; from playing at pubs, parties and weddings across the country, to the main stages of Falls Festival and Party in the Paddock. Abe was also awarded the National Folk Alliance’s award for Tasmania’s Best Young Performer in 2021. In addition to performing original music, Abe has also developed a large repertoire of covers that cater to any environment, spanning a range of genres and eras that are bound to please everyone.
