Presented by the Bob Brown Foundation.
A journey through takayna, from Gondwana, Aboriginal Living Culture, Industrial Destruction, Defenders and a vision of future hope.
This is a story about a place where nature has evolved for millions of years. Its flora, lichens and fossils tell the story of the planet’s evolution.
A landscape much unchanged since the ancestors of the palawa walked upon the land providing cycles of connection to cultural power and spirit.
A place, that is right now, today, disappearing by the effects of the human race.
We come from it, we connect with it, we defend it.
There is still time to keep this place intact.
This place is TAKAYNA.
Exhibiting under the five themes Gondwana, Aboriginal Living Culture, Industrial Destruction, Defenders and Future Hope.
