showcases the ‘best of the best’
Tasmanian art by leading artists in all media.
Following 10 years of dedicated collecting the members of The Island Collection are showing 68 pieces of Tasmanian art by the State’s best and most well known artists. The eclectic collection contains beautiful paintings by artists such as David Keeling, Patrick Grieve, Philip Wolfhagen, Geoff Dyer and Stephanie Tabram – to name but a few. Also on view are ceramics, prints, photography, fine furniture, installation pieces and shell jewellery. This is the first and last opportunity to view the collection before it is distributed amongst the Island Collection’s members.
The Island Collection contains works by more than 50 artists including:
