This installation by members of The Spindle Tree will be an Australian take on the classic song “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. Hidden in amongst the Australian flora is a range of Australian animals, created from various fibre art mediums. High up above the trees, is the great Southern Cross.
You can see:
Snakes hissing,
Wombats washing,
Echidnas hiding,
Kangaroos creeping,
Possums playing,
Parrots perching,
Lizards leaping,
Dingos dancing,
Potoroos prancing,
Native Hens running,
Sharks Surfing,
and a Kookaburra in a gum tree!
Whilst you try to find all of the animals hidden within the installation, take a moment to reflect on Australia’s wonderful wildlife and see the beauty in this kaleidoscope of life.
