Salamanca Arts Centre (SAC) Arts Retail Spaces evolved with the objective of providing subsidised retail space for emerging, mid career and established art and design businesses who share and demonstrate SAC’s purpose and aims of supporting local artists.
Space 003 is 19 square meters and is located on the Ground Floor of Salamanca Arts Centre, under the stairs in the Young Building. Space 003 has level access from Salamanca Place, and has benefitted from multiple renovations undertaken by SAC and Bruny Island Cheese Co., the previous tenant of nine years.
Space 003 has floor-to-ceiling glass frontage to the Young Alcove, and has both a sink and fridge installed. The back wall is heritage stone and there is track lighting, multiple power points, and like all SAC Spaces, is NBN ready.
All SAC Spaces are working spaces only – they are not residential in nature.

Salamanca Arts Centre (SAC) is currently seeking Applications for Space 003 from Arts Retailers and Arts Businesses (including individual Artists, Groups of Artists, CoOperatives, Incorporated Associations, Organisations).
Residencies are for a period of 5 years (commencing as soon possible).
