Three Grandfathers

Three Grandfathers is a multi-platform performance by two Tasmanian Aboriginal Producers, Nathan Maynard and Fiona Hamilton. The performance seeks to target developing a Tasmanian Aboriginal audience further and exposing a broader audience to Tasmanian Aboriginal performance and stories. The performance is primarily for children and families. Three Grandfathers uses a range of theatre and performance platforms, such as narrative, dance, circus acrobatics, installations, light performance, shadow puppetry and music in an interwoven and innovative way of marrying Traditional Tasmanian Aboriginal storytelling within a contemporary setting with a combination of methods drawn from both.
