Grace Garton is originally from Sydney,
where she studied art
at the Liverpool Technical College
and Sydney City Art Institute.
“After completing my Bachelor of Visual arts, I turned my hand to follow a career in the animation industry, which I have been working on and off for the past 27 years.
During this time I relocated to Hobart to further my art studies In 2006 I decided to dedicate my time to work as a full-time artist.
I work in a variety of art disciplines from figurative mixed medium landscape painting, fabric sculpted art dolls and watercolour, my work has been well received and has been gaining interest both locally and internationally.
I have a passion for history and vintage and discarded objects, the later often find their way into my work.”
